Application Procedures

Submission Deadlines

The Cleo Foundation board meets once a year to make grant decisions.

In 2017, grants will be solicited on an invite-only basis from foundation staff. Invitations to submit an online application will be issued in early summer 2017.

If we are interested in a full proposal, you will receive an invitation to apply through our online system.

 

How to Apply (Invitation Only)

Step 1:  If you were invited to apply, register using the link below.

Registration for a Username and Password

Step 2:  Use your login information to access our online Grants Management Portal

Step 3:  Once logged in, complete the following items:

  1. Complete the Organization Profile and the Personal Profile, found under the Organization and Contact Information section.
  2. Click the “New Proposals” icon to begin an application.
  3. Be sure to save your work periodically, as the application form will not auto-save your work. You may save an application in progress and return to it by clicking the “Current Proposals” icon on your home screen.
  4. Click “Submit” when complete. Submitted applications cannot be edited.

Step 4:  After you have submitted an application, your request will be considered. You may view/print a submitted application, but will not be able to edit it.

 

Application Overview & Required Attachments

In preparation for the application, please download the Application Overview to make sure you have all the information you need. The Application Overview outlines the application step by step and also includes links to the required forms and attachments needed to complete the application.

Helpful Tips

Review the full application, including which documents/attachments you will need to upload as part of the process. Download the Application Overview before beginning to fill out the application, to make sure you have all the information you need. We recommend starting to work on your application in Word rather than in the online application form, particularly if you are working with several people to complete the application. Then, copy and paste your consolidated answers in the online application form.
